The historical core of Tisno

The historical core of the settlement is on the island by the coast, under the Brošćica hill. Tisno is characterised by typical authentic rural facilities, built using irregularly shaped stone, without any special architectural details and with characteristic galleries. The original stone pavement is preserved in certain places. Tisno also has several townhouses built by the Italian families that moved from Bergamo in the first half of the 18th century (the Alborghetti, Gelpi and Banchetti families), as well as the Katunarić palace.
